• What is Viddel?

  VIDeo + DELivery = Viddel!

  Viddel is the next breakthrough in social video communications.  It is a way for you to communicate and share videos (or Viddels) but at the exact date and time that you want.  No longer do you have to prepare and send videos at the same time.  Viddel allows you to record a Viddel of up to thirty seconds in length and then select exactly when you want it to be delivered at any point up to one year in advance!  You can of course send to one recipient or multiple recipients at the same time.

• When would I do this?

  There are countless ways in which sending a Viddel will be helpful to you in both your personal and professional lives.

  1. Record a year’s worth of birthday greetings for family and friends and have them all scheduled to deliver on their special day.
  2. Schedule holiday greetings in advance without having to stop what you are doing on that day to do so.
  3. A parent can schedule a “reminder video” to their children to be delivered as soon as they get off of school: don’t forget your homework; you have to walk your sister home; soccer practice is at 4pm; etc.
  4. For someone traveling on business to be able to send morning and/or bedtime wishes to your children without having to work around your business schedule.  Or send that special message to your spouse.
  5. Schedule a reminder for your husband to pick up dinner for when he leaves work.
  6. Send an encouragement email to a student about to take a big test; or the athlete about to play in a big game.  Or to that person about to go into that big meeting at 3pm.  Send them that Viddel five or ten minutes before to give them that extra push that they just may need.
  7. Communicate messages to your employees or team members in the field to get to them exactly when you want.

  The list goes on and on.  Once you start, you’ll be hooked!
  
  

• How much does Viddel cost?

  Nothing!  Viddel is completely free to use and will always be.  It is available for free in the Google Play Store.  Look for us soon in the Apple App Store as well (also free)!

• How am I actually helping homeless veterans by using Viddel?

  We at Viddel care about our communities and our country.  We also are aware of the immense debt that we owe to those who have sacrificed everything for your freedom and security.  We refuse to stand by while these heroes suffer.  A portion of every dollar that Viddel brings in goes directly to our Homeless Vets.  This money will not only be used to help to house our vets, but also for food, counseling, health care, personal improvement and just to have a simple chance in life.

  They were there for us.  Now we need to be there for them.  Assist us in helping these heroes simply by using Viddel on a regular basis.
  
  

• Who can see my Viddels?

  The only one who can see your Viddels are those who you send them to.  We do not make them public like some other Apps.  Use this service with confidence.

• How do I know if someone has watched my Viddel?

  There will be a circle next to each recipients’ name.  A grey filled-in circle means they haven't seen it, and an open circles shows that it has been viewed.

• What happens to my Viddel if I delete all of my recipients?

  If you delete all of your recipients, you are in essence deleting the Viddel as well.

• How can I unsend a Viddel?

  If you delete each recipient, you are in essence unsending a Viddel.  You can delete the recipients as long as they have not yet viewed the Viddel.

• How long will my Viddel last?

  Your Viddel will automatically delete 24 hours after being viewed.

• What if my recipient doesn't have Viddel?

  If your recipient does not yet have Viddel, they will receive an email and/or text with instructions for adding the App so that they can view the Viddel that you sent.  And then they can send you one too!
